Eishton (pronounced “ish-ton”) is an Israeli anonymous investigative blog. The blog is known in Israel for lengthy and detailed investigations, in to subjects mainstream media avoids or flat-out misleads about. You are currently reading the English version which is translated from the main Hebrew site (Please excuse any spelling\grammar mistakes, or just general linguistic awkwardness throughout the site, as this isn’t my native tongue).

“You must read his sisyphic work in to the true story behind the deaths of Israel’s fallen soldiers” (Uri Misgav, Haaretz)

“If Israel had a Pulitzer prize, Eishton’s investigation would deserve it”. (Aluf Benn, editor-in-chief, Haaretz)

“Israel’s Most Sought-after Anonymous Blogger Has Won His Battle With the IDF” (Barak Ravid, Haaretz)

Currently (21-Jan-2017) all previous content published is in Hebrew (i will be working to change this as fast as i can). The blog mainly tackles issues of racism in Israel, Terrorism, Military and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Israeli politics, Western politics and operations in Africa & the middle east and more. The blog is especially known for dealing with:

  • The deaths of Israeli soldiers – every year, around memorial day, i publish an investigation into all the soldiers that died in the passing year, and allow the readers to compare the glorified narrative Vs. reality. The blog exposed that the leading cause of death for Israeli soldiers is suicide, contrary to whats marketed to Israelis by the government and the media – especially on memorial day – that it is by the hands of the enemy and especially the Palestinians. For example:
The blog exposed that while all the news outlets and the government asked us to morn the warrior deaths of 183 falling combatants in 2011, in reality 99% of them died outside the battlefield and with no connection to any enemy (40 died in a a fire, 34 killed themselves, 31 died of different medical reasons, and the rest are mostly car accidents. just two died by the hands of an adversary and just one of them was by the hands of Palestinians).
  • The killing of Palestinians by Israeli forces – investigating specific cases that are swept under the rug. Such as the investigation of Ben Deri (accused of killing two Palestinians and injuring two others in a premeditated murder on ‘Nakba day’ 2014), The killing of Mustafa Tamimi by grenade launched at his face from point blank, Disproving the Israeli report claiming Muhhmad a-dura’s death was faked (“Pallywood”), the uncovering of a gang-rape of a Palestinian girl by 3 Israeli soldiers, or the murder of  13 year old Nibin Jamjum by Israeli settlers.
  • Asylum seekers in Israel – proving the falsehoods regarding Eritrean and Sudanese crime rates in Israel, the danger they pose to Israelis in south Tel-Aviv, and them being work immigrants as oppose to refugees. As well as an historical comparison between Nazi regime leaders language and actions towards Jews in the 1920-30’s and to those of Israel’s towards black asylum seekers in the last decade.%d7%90%d7%9c%d7%99-%d7%99%d7%a9%d7%99-%d7%95%d7%94%d7%99%d7%98%d7%9c%d7%a8
  • Criticism  of the Israeli media and publishing items censored or distorted by it.
